Announcement
CO3 is pleased to announce the appointment of Gillian Lewis as the new Head of the Northern Ireland Health Collective. The Northern Ireland Health Collective serves as a forum for health and social care charities and community groups, providing a collective voice on policy issues and advocating for the sector both regionally and nationally.
Gillian will lead the NI Health Collective in its mission to function as a ‘network of networks,’ enabling representatives from existing groups across Northern Ireland to unite as a significant voice in policymaking to improve health outcomes in the region and act as an essential catalyst for change.
With 27 years experience in the field of public health Gillian has a passion and commitment to addressing the social determinants of health and promoting health equity. Her career commenced with NHS Grampian and extended into the Voluntary, Community, and Social Enterprise sectors in Northern Ireland, where she served as Manager in The Resurgam Trust.
Ms. Lewis currently holds the position of Co-Chair of the Shadow South-Eastern Area Integrated Partnership Board (AIPB) and was appointed as a Community Representative.
She is a passionate advocate of the power of relationships, collaborating and networking to make a difference. Social justice and the drive to ensure fairness and equity of access, outcome and opportunity motivate Gillian in her life and her work.
When not working, Gillian spends much valued time with her family and as a lifelong volunteer, she is active in her local community.
We congratulate Gillian on her appointment and look forward to the positive impact that her leadership will bring through the Northern Ireland Health Collective.
