Shaping the VCSE Anchor Role in Integrated Neighbourhood Teams

The first workshop will explore the progress of the HSCNI Neighbourhood Health and Wellbeing Policy and the development of the VCSE Anchor Role within Integrated Neighbourhood Teams. Discussions will cover the purpose and role of VCSE Anchors, governance and selection, priority populations and neighbourhoods, and the capacity and support needed to make the model successful.

The second workshop will build on these discussions with a focus on moving policy into practice. Attendees will have the opportunity to join the conversation with Mike Farrar, Permanent Secretary at the Department of Health, and his team to explore how the VCSE sector can support the delivery of neighbourhood health and wellbeing. Participants will also have the chance to share their views, engage directly with Department of Health leaders and help shape future policy and implementation.
